1. The service
StaysPrivate ("we", "us") provides browser-based file utilities at staysprivate.com. All tools process files locally on your device; we never receive your files. Free features are provided free of charge; certain advanced features ("Pro") require a paid license.
2. Acceptable use
Use the tools only with files you have the right to process, and only for lawful purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for resale, or resell the service itself.
3. Pro licenses
- A Pro license is a one-time purchase, licensed per person, usable on your own devices.
- It includes access to Pro features and all Pro updates released for one year from purchase; features unlocked during that year continue to work after it ends.
- Payments are processed by our merchant of record, which is the seller of record for the transaction; their checkout terms apply to the purchase itself.
- Refunds are available per our refund policy.
- License keys may not be published, shared publicly or resold.
4. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. File formats vary in the wild; always verify converted output before relying on it, especially for financial or legal records. We are not affiliated with Intuit, Microsoft, Samsung, Google, Apple or any other trademark owner mentioned for compatibility purposes.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including data loss — your files are processed on your own device and never in our custody.
6. Changes
We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
