The short version

Your files never leave your device. Every StaysPrivate tool processes files locally in your browser — nothing you drop into a tool is uploaded, transmitted, stored or seen by us, ever.

Your files

All file processing (conversion, extraction, parsing) happens in your web browser using code that runs on your own device. Your files, their names and their contents are never sent to our servers or to any third party. You can verify this yourself: load any tool page, disconnect from the internet, and the tool continues to work.

What we do collect

• Anonymous usage statistics. We may collect aggregate, cookie-free statistics such as page views, country-level location, and which tools are used. These contain no personal information and cannot be linked to you.
• Purchase information (Pro). If you buy a Pro license, the checkout is operated by our merchant of record, which processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive your email address and license details so we can deliver and support your license — nothing else.
• Email you send us. If you contact us, we keep the correspondence to answer you.

What we do not do

• No advertising trackers, no selling or sharing of data.
• No accounts and no profiling.
• No cookies required for using the tools.

Third-party services

The website is hosted on Vercel (static pages only — your files are not sent to it). Payment processing for Pro licenses is handled by our merchant of record, who is the seller of record for those transactions.
