Frequently asked questions

Which email file types are supported?

EML files (exported from Gmail, Thunderbird, Apple Mail and most other mail apps) and MSG files (saved from Microsoft Outlook). Just drag the files from your email app or file explorer onto this page.

Are my emails uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens inside your browser on your own device — the conversion code runs locally. Confidential emails, legal correspondence and HR records never touch a server. You can even disconnect your internet after loading the page.

How do I save an Outlook email as a PDF?

In Outlook, drag the email to your desktop (this creates a .msg file), then drop that file here. The PDF downloads instantly with the subject, sender, date and body preserved.

Can I convert many emails at once?

Yes — the free version converts up to 5 emails per batch. Pro removes the limit, embeds attachment lists, keeps original filenames, and exports an index CSV of all converted emails (useful for legal discovery and record-keeping).

Why are images missing from my PDF?

Remote images (loaded from the internet) are deliberately blocked for privacy — this also stops email tracking pixels. Embedded/inline images support is coming to Pro.
